Clubs and Boathouses in the Atlantic Division
From Brooklyn to Rockland County, many venues for paddling, learning and comradeship.
Paddling clubs have existed in the Greater Metropolitan Area almost since the start of the ACA in 1880. The Atlantic Division, founded in 1888, currently is home to over 30 clubs and boathouses with something for everyone. More the half of the clubs offer public programs so you can try kayaking on the Hudson, explore Jamaica Bay or go canoeing on the Bronx River. We have clubs devoted to kayak polo, canoe sailing and dragon boats. Contact the clubs to see what they offer.
